Why we are doing this?

As you may or may not be aware my father has recently been diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy or PSP (www.pspeur.org) which is an untreatable and incurable brain disease and sadly as PSP is very rare it is often misdiagnosed as Parkinsons.

Only 14 in 100,000 people are correctly diagnosed with PSP as the medical profession has little or no knowledge about it.

The PSP charity has suffered from a lack of awareness being such a rare disease and because of this and with your support we are hoping to change that.

To bring awareness of PSP and the charity to a wider audience I have decided to climb Kilimanjaro and I am being supported by two very good friends Andy Smith and Daniel Lamprecht.

Hopefully all three of us will summit successfully and in so doing raise awareness and money for the PSP charity.

Andy is a long standing friend who has known our family for many years and gracefully offered to do this trip without hesitation..

We grew up in Ongar, Essex and were boarders at Forest school in Snaresbrook for many years. We’ve travelled all over Europe and spent time in Africa together along with Daniel. Andy successfully runs his own IT division at Karlson recruitment and splits his time between the City and his family who now live in South Africa.
